‘Ciocch’ is the artisanal belt for the dapper gentleman who pays attention to every single detail: from shoes to matching accessories. These are our variations: suede leather or brushed leather. Height: 30 millimeters.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and tobacco brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
