The origin of the belt
The humble belt has been a male accessory since ancient times. Babylonians and traditional Jewish people used to wear belts to match their clothes. During the Bronze Age and in the first half of the Iron Age, people used to wear large bronze belts. But as time changes, so does fashion and soon enough it was leather belts were in fashion.
How to match belts and shoes
As a style tip, you should match classic men’s belts by color ― blue, dark brown, cognac, brown, black, tobacco, burgundy ― with the shoes’ leather.
But this rule doesn’t apply to all belts ― not to braided, sporty, or casual belts for example. Wearing one of these kinds of belts you can be a bit more daring. Staying in the classic world, it would be better to also match belts with wallets.
From elegant to braided belts
In our collection, all our artisanal leather belts are made in Italy. Each model follows the style of the man choosing the belt: from classic belts, sleek, sporty, and casual, to the braided ones.
Our men’s belts have three thicknesses
In terms of distinguishing yourself with men’s accessories, the belt’s height ― its thickness ― plays a very important role. As you will notice online, ours are classified as follows: 30 millimeters for the sleek belt; 35 millimeters for classic and braided belts; and 40 millimeters for the more sporty ones.
