They are the unlaced ankle boots, handmade in Italy. The lack of laces makes them extremely practical, facilitating the “put on-take off'' while the rubber sole with ridges on the bottom is designed to make your step more comfortable. We paired them with a wide-ribbed corduroy jacket, a shirt with thin lines and jeans.
Made in Montegranaro (FM)
The blake construction directly sews the insole and sole together from inside the shoe with a single stitch. It’s the lightest and most flexible choice you can make for classical style shoes.
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and green coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Made with white or coloured rubber with ridges on the bottom which cushion the step, making the shoe really comfortable and perfect for everyday life. Where the heel of the foot rests, there is a small heel.
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
