Description
Our smooth brown leather Hiking boots are inspired by mountain life. Built to be solid and “enveloping” boots, to accompany you on your winter days: in fact, an extra membrane between the inner and the outer quarter keeps water at bay; plus, the tongue is a one-piece leather design that blocks openings and helps keep out debris and rain. The boot has laces in two colours and exposed stitching, a perfect union with the Vibram rubber sole. In Val Ferret, green corduroy trousers, a sheepskin jacket and a tartan scarf. The mountain air shall regenerate you.

Construction
This process consists of fixing the lining to the mounting sole; the leather's edges, used for the upper (the upper section of the shoe), are then stitched to the sole with rapid technique.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Our smooth calfskin leather comes from so-called full grain layer, the outermost and most valuable part of leather. It is also the one that undergoes the least processing: any veining is a guarantee of natural quality. This feature ensures that feet breathe more and that shoes last longer. And have you noticed how elegant they are?
Sole
This is the iconic Vibram Carrarmato rubber sole, built on grip, inspired by mountain life: thick and durable. If you’ve missed it, "Carrarmato" means "tank tread" and it was the first sole ever created with rubber lug soles.
