Description
It's the two-colored Moccasin that you won’t expect to see everyone wearing. With its waterproof suede leather and studded rubber sole, it’s a green shoe with contrast beige natural leather laces for walking with style and feeling unique from everybody else. To make these Moccasins by hand, we chose the tubular technique: you’ll feel like you’re wearing a pair of slippers.
Construction
It’s like a glove. The tubular moccasin construction is when the upper forms a leather tube that sits on top of the sole. It’s the definition of softness and flexibility, and feels like having a pair of slippers on your feet.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and dark green coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Sole
It's the classic moccasin sole. Small rubber studs run across the bottom surface, all the way to the back, a perfect array of rubber studs in different sizes. This job is made by hand.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
