Description
The burgundy lace-up boot in tumbled calf leather, which shows the small imperfections of this wild animal expressing all its country soul. Soft yet resistant, it'll fit you comfortably thanks to the loop at the back. A weekend in the mountains, such magic! A denim and mustard sweater under a flannel jacket.
Made in Montegranaro (Italy).
Construction
The blake construction directly sews the insole and sole together from inside the shoe with a single stitch. It’s the lightest and most flexible choice you can make for classical style shoes.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and burgundy brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Material
Just like full grain leather, it’s one of the most natural, soft and refined leather on the market. From there it starts a tumbling process to cover all the leather’s little imperfections. The result is about aesthetics.
Sole
Very light and extremely resistant. Looking adventurous yet casual, the Vibram rubber lug sole is made to overtake the most insidious mountain paths. During the coldest times of the year, there won’t be any more obstacles.
