Description
These shoes were born from an encounter with Alfa Romeo, from love for Italian design and the desire to travel. In suede leather, tobacco-coloured with a para rubber sole, they are inspired by the sporty and robust soul of the historic Giulietta car, from which they take their name. As always, handcrafted.

Construction
It’s like a glove. The tubular moccasin construction is when the upper forms a leather tube that sits on top of the sole. It’s the definition of softness and flexibility, and feels like having a pair of slippers on your feet.
Color
Unrefined leather goes through the traditional process called “tanning”. And is treated so to prevent it from decomposition or loss in flexibility. Afterwards, the leather is put in a rotating wood barrel with water and tobacco brown coloring solution for dyeing. Water is then warmed up to 60°C to help the color bind to the leather for a lasting finish.
Sole
Para soles are made with rubber taken from the smoked lattice. Guess where this term comes from? From the Brazilian area called Parà, where the wild plants from which lattice is extracted grow. A natural material for a flexible and comfy shoe.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
