Description
The unlined sneaker with velcro straps, in smooth suede leather. Sand brown with amber rubber soles, in earthy tones with a vintage touch. On the foot it feels soft and lightweight, with a removable insole. Slip it on and off with ease for any casual look. Made in Montegranaro (FM)
Construction
A sporty shoe for your free time must be first and foremost comfortable, soft and light. That’s why we’ve chosen Strobel construction: the upper is joined to the insole forming a “sock” that is then fixed to the sole.
Color
To dye it, the grain leather goes through the ‘tanning’ process. It gets put into a turning wooden barrel, containing water and a sand dyeing solution. The water then gets brought to 60°C to allow the color to fully penetrate the leather.
Material
Suede calf leather comes from the innermost layer of leather, which is worked through buffing: it consists of abrading the surface, which reveals its typical velvety effect.
Sole
With it’s rubber, it pays respect to the traditions of sneaker culture. Technically called “box bottom” it’s made with 100% rubber. With a very light, smooth and flat sole, it’s suitable for a refined and casual all-purpose look.
